Rooted by Design
During my almost three years at Rooted by Design I worked across a wide variety of projects that explored and tried to tackle inequities in healthcare, youth education and employment as well as the future of work. Rooted is a Black led and focused design studio.
Equity centered
I worked on projects that allowed me to collaborate, co-design outcomes and present recommendations on behalf of Black communities such as, low banded NHS staff, FE students at a vocational college and members of various faith, youth and elderly groups. The approach to all research we carried out was to prioritise equity and ensure people were fairly compensated for their time and effort.
